I have included my attempt at conversion please offer any feedback you might have;considering I have little experience with this I used the first part of the Hunterheart Skill bonus and added the Windwing kith blessing from 1st edition as it was written.
Choose either Investigation or Sur*vival. When the Windwing uses the chosen Skill to track down creatures from Faerie, achieving three suc*cesses counts as an exceptional success.Gift of Flight: A Windwing may spend a point of Glamour to glide in the air for up to one minute per point Wyrd; he cannot gain altitude without appropriate updrafts, but may move at his normal Speed. In addition, a Windwing takes only one point of bashing damage for every 15 yards fallen, and begins to take lethal damage only if he falls more than 150 yards.
I think I might have begun working on the Windwing conversion for the other thread, and then never posted it up. I’ll check my files tomorrow to see if it’s hanging around, and if so, I’ll post it up.

Okay, I checked my notes. I don't have their full conversion finished, but I did have their kith blessing. For convenience, I'll post it here:

Kith Blessing: When the Windwing uses Survival while airborne for foraging, hunting, or navigation, achieving three successes counts as an exceptional success.
Sky’s Freedom: By spending a point of Glamour and rolling Stamina + Athletics, a Windwing is able to take to the sky. The Windwing is able to fly at twice their Speed for one minute for each success rolled, and is able to use their Defense against Firearms while airborne. This time is increased to five minutes for each success rolled while in the Hedge, although those skies often have their own complications. After the flight duration lapses, the Windwing becomes fatigued, gliding gently to the ground. The character must rest for a turn before using this Blessing again.

My Summer King is a fire elemental based on the mythical salamander and I decided that his Keeper decided to use him as the fire in a weapons forge used by the Keepers other changelings. That being said I was wondering if he would fit under the Ifrit or Fireheart kiths found within the Olivia Hill Kith conversions list?

Fire-as-weapon is typically more the Ifrit's domain; Firehearts are more metaphorically bright, ie quick witted.

So are you advising me to leave him as a kithless elemental or if I did decide to give him a kith make him a maker or a smith?

I was wondering if you guys could help me out with converting the Shadowsoul kith to 2nd Edition? I have included what I have thus far as well as the text from the Shadowsoul entry in Winter Masques.
                • Shadowsoul
                  • 1st Edition Wording:
                    • Shadowsoul — The antithesis of the Bright Ones, these fae are the most beautiful chosen of the nigh. Their beauty comes from the darkness they swathe themselves in rather than the light they radiate. They were the favored concubines, adornments and hand-maidens to nocturnal Keepers, and are distant cousins to the Darklings.
                    • The Shadowsoul’s blessing is the Unnatural Chill: the player gains a bonus to Intimidation rolls equal to her Wyrd, and receives the benefit of the 9 again rule to Subterfuge rolls. In addition, she may purchase Contracts of Darkness as affinity Contracts.
                  • Purpose (Primary Category)
                    • Handmaiden (Social)
                  • Benefits
                    • Skill (Intimidation)
                      • Exceptional Success with 3 Successes
                        • When using Intimidation for social maneuvering.
                    • Trickery
                      • Spend point of Glamour and make Presence + Intimidation roll
                        • Unnatural Chill: Gains a bonus to Intimidation roll equal to her Wyrd.

For the Shadowsouled, I would do it as a Presence + Manipulation roll. On a successful roll, you inflict the spooked condition on your target

The update of it I know (not my own, linked to me by a friend) has these stats:

                    Shadowsoul:

When the Shadowsoul uses Subterfuge to obfuscate their desires and goals, achieving three successes counts as an exceptional success.

Shroud: A Shadowsoul carries a palpable gloom, dimming sources of illumination, though the Mask normally prevents mortals from seeing it. She can spend a point of Glamour to cast the immediate area in a chilling shadow, and one Glamour every turn thereafter to maintain it; the Mask does not obscure this darkness. Each turn the Shadowsoul uses this blessing, she applies the Poor Light Tilt to the area, and her enemies take a point of bashing damage from supernatural darkness. This darkness smothers mundane light sources and supernatural sources of light trigger a Clash of Wills. In addition, the Shadowsoul can see normally in poor lighting, up to and including pitch darkness.
I find this works well for it being an antithesis of the Bright One Kith

Consumer of lore, myth, history, tales and songs. Pronoun ambiguous.
This isn't gonna be easy, but the fact that you're even trying says a lot about you. You're braver than you think. --RWBY V5C5

Jakodite, Would the following be an accurate written description of the example you gave me?
                      • Benefits
                        • Skill (Intimidation)
                          • Exceptional Success with 3 Successes
                            • When using Intimidation for social maneuvering.
                        • Trickery
                          • Spend point of Glamour and make Presence + Manipulation roll
                            • Unnatural Chill: Inflicts the spooked condition on the target with a successful Presence + Manipulation roll and spending a point of Glamour.

I've made some minor updates to the document.

I didn't receive much feedback the first time around, but now that this document has circulated fairly widely, I'm curious if anyone that's tried these out in actual play has feedback of the sort requested in the OP?

Oops. Sorry for not commenting. I Always used this list. It helped some of my players to find more interesting options. I personally like the brewer kith. But i find the toxicity a little too high because of the addition of the sucesses.

This is awesome, the number of Kiths in the core book did seem a little sparse. i do have a question regarding the Nix though.
Kith Blessing: When the Nix makes Athletics rolls related to swimming or water sports, achieving three successes counts as an exceptional success.
Siren’s Lure: The Nix can breathe water as easily as air. The changeling may spend a point of Glamour and roll Presence + Expression to ignore social penalties or Resistance up to the rolled successes plus Wyrd for the scene. This includes penalties from Forcing Doors in Social Maneuvering.

Are Nix meant to be good in the water, or good in social encounters, because it looks like they start out as the former then somehow change to the later. I mean, what does ignoring social penalties have to do with being able to breathe water as easily as air. There was a Kith (can't remember what it was called) that could breathe underwater, and grant their water breathing to others. Maybe that would be better for the Nix? Or maybe make a third water-based Kith for the water-breathing ability?

                              That's a good question - here's the original, pre-conversion version from the 2E Playtest:

Blessing:A nix can breathe water as easily as air and adds +2 to all swimming rolls. If she spends a point of Glamour and speaks, she adds her Wyrd to all Persuasion or vocal Expression rolls for the scene and listeners subtract the nix’s Wyrd from all Wits + Composure rolls to notice anything except the changeling.
So, the answer would appear to be both - I believe it's meant to be a play on the tropes of a water-dwelling creature that's good at luring people to their deaths, or at the very least, fatally distracting them. I tried to stay true to the original design with most of these conversions, though avoiding rehashing the same thing 30 different ways took priority (and that still happened, occasionally.

Thank you for doing this, @Inodiv. Truly, you are doing God's the Wyrd's work. I too was excited when I learned that 2e would canonize my houserule that Kiths and Seemings can be mixed freely, but very disappointed to learn at how paltry few Kiths were included in the 2e corebook. Thanks to you, I now have dozens of snazzy new options to choose from when I'm building new characters or NPCs. Thank you again! 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️
