  • Have you ever used the krewe rules to represent things like regular mystery cults?

    Do they work well

Would it even be worth it?

The Mystery Cult merit was created for this purpose and Geist added it as part of how Krews work.
If that’s not enough information please clarify what you would like.

No experience myself, but theoretically it would work nice when playing as equal allies of or decision-making leadership of the cult in question, and where the latter is prominent as a ‘party member’ by itself.

If the cult is antagonistic instead, the Conspiracy rules from Deviant might work better, as it gives you guidelines to confront them.

I tend to use Deviant's conspiracies more now that that's out, but basically, if there is an organization-any organization at all-that matters and can (not always will) send people to cause you problems, I style it up with the organization rules that started with Geist. From freeholds to caucuses and consilium's to Elysium's and more-well, I think I've made my point.
