  • 244) Your cell is approached by a demon. It claims that it desires to be a servant of the "true God" as opposed to the "machine one" that gave birth to it, but it doesn't know where to begin in making this so. It has requested your help in the matter.
    ● I feel that this hook would require that your cell has a connection to one of the compacts or conspiracies of Christian nature (the Long Night, Malleus Maleficarum, Knights of St George, Order of St Anthony?).

    • 245) Some fascistic movement is going to have a big event in your area. Given that 90% of your cell, at minimum, ascribes to the Antifa philosophy you're going to engage in some kind of counter-event. Especially when you learn that there might be a monster of some kind hiding among the fascists.
      ● For an accurate, er, dissection of Antifa look to The Philosophy of Antifa by Philosophy Tube. Warning: the video is 1hr, 7mins.

        • 247) Your cell has starts getting sent on Black Book assignments. You have no idea why & it's getting rather dangerous. When you investigate the matter (in between the Black Book assignments of course), you find that your cell is somehow stuck on getting these assignments & no amount of bureaucracy can get you free.

          • 248) A member of the Chosen of Krull recently acquired a large number of eldritch texts & decided to study them & find more Abyssal Blessings.
They weren't as careful as they should have been, & now an eldritch horror is building a power base under the city.

            • 249) "Hello, this is Richard Mathers, warrior of God, member of the Malleus Maleficarum. Today I am performing a Benediction that I myself have uncovered, for the first time. I am doing this to prove that it works & can be taught to the rest of order. The Benediction invokes the saint known as Bernward of Hildesheim & it distorts spatial dimensions."
The Malleus Maleficarum got that transmission a little over a day ago. When communications coming out of the building went silent, they sent in a team to find out what was going on. The team came back speaking of hallways that went on forever, massive rooms crossed in a single step, & other unsettling spatial phenomena.
For whatever reason, the Malleus Maleficarum has turned to your cell. You are to go in, return the building to its original dimensions, figure out what happened, determine whether or not the Benediction is safe for use, & extract any survivors.
May God keep you safe, for it looks like no one else will be able to.

              • 250) A couple members of the Lucifuge went into guided meditation through the genetic memories of their demonic ancestors. Something went wrong & when the mentor "surfaced", the pupil didn't surface with them.
It's now been over 24 hrs & the Lady of Milan is for reason is getting desperate. Your task is to retrieve the pupil from the dreamstate, with or without a Castigation. The Lady of Milan has explicitly stated that if you succeed she will owe you one favour. As you prepare for the descent of sorts, the mentor comes to you & informs you that the Recovered Memory appeared to be from somewhere or somewhen during the War in Heaven.
If you aren't successfully at this, the Lady of Milan says she will have no choice but to kill the pupil.

                • 251) You're a member of the Lucifuge & recently got your hands on a book considered part of the so-called "Devil's Library". Once you confirmed all this you immediately started trawling through it for a new Castigation.
And then it got stolen. And then you begin to feel weak. Turns out when you started uncovering one of the Castigations held between its covers, you instigated some sort of enchantment that drains your life force should you lose possession of it. The only way to break the enchantment is to finish uncovering the Castigation, but the clock is ticking.
                  Tick tick tick tick.

                  • 252) Your cell comes upon a member of the Lucifuge. This hunter has the unfortunate habit of making multiple deals with demons in search of new Castigations.
Now whilst the providing the Lucifuge with a plethora of new Castigations is a good thing, the near constant demon deals is taking a significant toll on the hunter's morality.
The latest demon they've summoned has demand a child sacrifice & the hunter is thinking about whether they should go through with it.
                    ● This Lucifuge member should have a deep understanding of numerous Castigations & the majority of Castigations that they wield should be new ones they've learnt via the demon deals.

                    • 253) You are a member of the Cheiron Group & have a close friend in one of the members of the Peleus Guild.
You are called in one day. You friend in the Peleus Guild has been attacked. Apparently it was in retaliation of some hunt that you led. You must respond to this attack on your friend, after all if you don't then you don't really have the right to call yourself their friend.

                      • 254) Your cell has kept in contact with another hunter cell which protects lower income neighborhoods and clear out the horrors which lurk in desolate industrial parks and abandoned warehouses. One day you lose contact with them, and three days later a deliver-in-case-you-don't-hear-from-me contingency "if you're reading this we're likely dead" message arrives to your Cell's point of contact for them. It details several of the creatures the other cell was researching and stalking, along with contact information for the cell members' families and a request to investigate the cause of their disappearance/death, finish their remaining cases, and look out for the safety of their family so that monsters don't get them.

Among the cases, phenomena, and creatures they were investigating (use a few of the monster focused adventure hooks here, it is important for this story the cell is offered a lot more information and options to follow than normal) there is also a set of abandoned office buildings with transients disappearing without any trace, caused by this.
The Hungry Door to Nowhere has a Dimensional Shambler as a parasite within its Tumor of Nowhere Cells, slowly stealing kills and the Hungry Doorway to Nowhere swallowed up all the members of the missing Hunter Cell in an attempt to get rid of the Dimensional Shambler. Also the family members of the other cell are likely to run afoul of the cells other cases, in particular unrelated vampire intrigue without the Cell being rescued or the player's taking over and cleaning up the loose ends.

                        • 255: (Loyalists of Thule) A Japanese professor of folklore has made some waves in academic circles recently, claiming mankind's folklore all comes from the same root origin. While no one takes him seriously (Partly his theories, partly his abrasiveness), you know a possible asset when you see it. Find this professor, and see what he might have.

(Based on the manga "The Casefiles of Prof. Munakata")

256: (Union) You're hearing some weird shit outta Pittsburgh. The city's got a reputation for having some ugly monsters in it, but they aren't always trouble. At least they weren't. Word's coming in a bunch of honest-to-God hunchbacks with magic are trying to restart a steel mill. So what's the problem? Whoever's funding it doesn't want to hire any regular humans. Plus, people are bound to start asking questions when they see the workforce. Go to this mill, see what's happening, and figure out if you can't use this as a chance to help the regular working people of Pittsburgh.

                          • 257: Your cell comes upon some monsters that have kidnapped a group of children. You go in, kill the monsters, & return the children to their homes.
What you didn't know was that the children had monsters among their family. Monsters who were either unaware of the kidnappings or were in the process of coming up with their own strategies to deal with this. They are now eternally grateful for your actions.
How do you proceed with this?
