  • Oneiros and Bastions

    Hello to everyone,
I have readed in changeling 2ed core that human dreams (called Bastions) are not in the Oneiros.
    So i was wondering:

-a mage using a Mind spell to enter dreams of a human could meet a changeling who entered here through a bastion right?
-are Bastions still part of the astral realm?
-it s possible to watch what a human is thinking or dreaming at the moment if you are in the oneiros? Could you interact with dreams in this way?
-can a Beast enter a Bastion using a primordial pathway? What is the penality if yes? When a beast inflict nightmares the horror enter in Bastions or Oneiros?

In a way. The first layer of the Astral is the personal dream plane, but it's not part of the "Astral proper". Goetia are unlikely to show up in dreams and they stop existing when the dreamer wakes up. It's the first layer that mages enter when they meditate into the Astral right before they cross the Astral barrier into their own Oneiros.

It should definitely be possible to find the developing memory of what the person is experiencing in the moment, but just like other memories in the Oneiros it should reset once it has played out (i.e. when the developing memory becomes a past memory). Whether there exists a scene/realm that represents current experiences rather than just a memory, I don't know.

It should be possible. I'd put it at -1 or -2.
The Inflicting Nightmares section says dreams, and considering that the Horror can only do so on people who are unconscious, it's most certainly dreams and not Oneiroi.

      Thanks for the answers,
I have readed a paragraph on beast player guide about Beasts exploring Oneiros and founding here current dreams and toughts, the text also says that influencing them from the oneiros is possible but it s like acting trough a membrane, that part confuse me a lot
