      That’s good to hear.

I can’t browse right now, how in depth is the section on the Mysterium? Anything on the Egregore?

To whomever reads this, I hope you have a good day/night. May you be Happy.

So, I made some Mage Legacies here, with some help. They vary in quality, but I hope you take a look at them. Every one contains pieces of me, for better or worse.

so... The Pancryptiates are basically a "Mages Rule,Sleepers drool" order?

The book isn't broken up in terms of Orders, rather History, global reach and effect, internal structuring, storytelling, and New York, and if there's a point I did find disappointing from the overhead scan, it's that there was no expansion of the signature merits of each Order. Beyond that, I would need to read more in depth.

More "The Fallen World sucks, the Supernal Worlds rule." They're a heavily Gnostic Order who basically can't make exceptions to how the Fallen world is damaging just because aspects of it are people too.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with The Bonfire on page 12? Is that referenced anywhere else?

Yeah, the book is much more about the Pentacle and how the Orders work together than it is about each of them individually. There's an entire 1e line for that.

Have not started reading yet, but it's 169 pages of PDF (incl. covers and stuff) and there is so much. Chapter 1 is 30-ish pages of histories, plural. Chapter 2 looks like 30-ish pages of Mysteries? And the Chapter 3 and 4 are about how the Pentacle operates. Chapter 5 is New York City.

I don't know how I'm going to manage to fit reading this into all the other stuff I have going on, but I really need to.

Hilariously, the sample Mystery I came up with for when I get around to talking about FMS/Mystery consumption as Mini-Awakening is now well supported with the take on uchronia.

EDIT: Oh man, it's a crying shame the Keepers never got to interact with the Free Council. That would have been a terrifyingly potent power couple.

Can anyone give a high level overview of the merits (if any) in the book?

There's not a whole lot in terms of merits-in fact, on the whole, while there's stuff for players, this is far more a Storyteller's supplement than a player supplement.Chapter 2 already got called out as a huge selection of settings and mysteries, but it should be mentioend that Chapter 1 is also effectively a Dark Eras-esque smorgasboard of story seeds.

There's the full version of the previously teased Faction membership merit (which I haven't really read), there's the Exoteric Rote of the Keepers which basically hyper rewards them for mastering skills for the purposes of rotes, and Perfecti, which rewards Pancryptiates for their distance from sleepers and spiritual cleansing with giving them an increased ability to minimize the downsides of casting around Sleepers.

The New York Chapter has a lot of Legacy stuff, though, including a complete take on the House of Ariadne.

                        I MUST KNOW ABOUT THIS.

Sometime later, when I eventually pick up the book…

What are they like, just to tease me, please?

They are like wizards with a clew.

(After doing the overhead scan, I went back to doing that boring thing I do of reading the book in order. I'll see if I can get a more specific scan for you before the end of the night)

EDIT: Not really a whole lot has changed with them, asides from being updated to 2E mechanics, honestly. They still kick all kinds of ass as the urban prophets they've always been.

Having now gotten the Lost Orders, obviously we now need a book that properly looks at the four point five Great Cults introduced in the first chapter.

I make Legacies when I'm bored. They're of middling quality, but have a look if you're interested. Advice and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
