One thing that come to mine mind when rereading sum up opening post - Why Pentacle City? Because you want to highlight interplay of Pentacle Orders, especially divide ( or not as large ) between Diamond and Free Council? Or how they are allies against Seers? Am I at least a bit close?

As to taking notes about games - from listening DaveB's Actual Plays on Broken Diamond and Soul Cage, I know his game groups are recording they game sessions on audio files - which Dave later transcript with ST notes.
