This is neither here nor there, but I was flipping thru some of my old posts on here and I think I hold the record for the number of short (ten words or less) posts on this forum.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask for real was, I read the Mummy 2e manuscript and I thought I remembered that in the new version Ammut the Devourer was actually the oldest and most powerful of the Judges. Is that a change in canon or did I just misread that?

There's always been some fudging regarding how Ammut is regarded, which is not totally unsurprising since the Shan'iatu, as drivers of sold narratives, have at various times had different ways they regarded her and sold her to the Empire.

But the short hand answer is "No, Ammut is not a Judge." Sutek is, but Ammut doesn't judge. All are equally crunchy in her mouth.
