  • Ghouls with Resilience

So Resilience passively adds to Stamina, and a ghoul's blood pool is determined by their stamina.

So real simple question: Do dots in resilience add to a ghoul's blood pool?

No. Stamina enhancements from supernatural effects don't count towards total Vitae.

Are we talking about how much blood is in a ghoul, or how much vitae?

Resilience would affect health (determined by size+stamina+resilience), it wouldn't affect their ability to hold Vitae (determined by stamina).

            2 questions, however:

Does it affect their running/swimming ability? (stamina+athletics rolls)
How does it look when they use Resilience to ignore grievous wounds? Their flesh is still torn, but doesn't bleed? How quickly does it heal afterwards?

Yes, it affects their running and swimming.
It looks how you want it to look, like you said their flesh could be torn but not bleed or it could bleed but just a lot slower.
Wounds heal normally for ghouls, what with them being humans and alive. They aren't likely to be able to absorb that much until they get a lot of dots in it, and they likely won't have the Vitae to consistently absorb damage. Still, with the nice 0-Vitae cost 1 dot skills, ghouls are in a good place.

Yes, but those "wounds" that were absorbed by Resilience aren't really health levels, so how quickly do they close up?
Also, am I understanding it correctly that ghouls can no longer use Vitae to heal their wounds like they used to?

No, it's on p 297, "Ghouls can heal much like a vampire"

It depends on how you want to describe it.
