Sorry, busy month, meant to reply sooner. I'm submitting a scenario to a con in October, so assuming they accept it, I can post it here after the fact. I was planning on trying to write rules for the Lodge of Muspellheim when there's a solid template published.

It'll be soon! Just need to wait for The Pack to emerge from Paradox approvals

Looking forward to it. I was tempted to write a proto-version of Lodge of the Maelstrom but didn't want to step on anyone's toes

Hey Chris totally unrelated question. But how is your attempt to write up Bulls Children? Did you get the approval?

Anyone have any thoughts on what kinda of weirdness is to be found in newly discovered Iceland given its historic lack of human habitation at this point?

Something from Sundered World, even? It would be cool if something survived there and it would add nice buckle between two Werewolf Dark Eras.

I've always had the impression that the lack of human habitation makes thing more predictable, not less, in the Shadow.

No - there's lots of other stuff lined up for support material for Mage post-release and we didn't want confuse things with more historical legacies while Dave's trying to catch up with updates of modern ones first.

My hope there is we actually get a 2E Changing Breeds filled with the type of stuff from Skinthieves and War Against the Pure's breeds, rather than what was in 1E's Changing Breeds.

And perhaps a bit of Skinchangers too!

Hell let's include the things from dark eras as well. Maybe a side bar to consecrate the spider and rats as true changing breeds. Not a change mind you but a meta event that occurs.

WoD-Dark Eras!! (Backed for Viking Age Werewolf)

When were Spiders and Rats true changing breeds rather than Shartha?

While I'm not Lyrics of War, not even on tv, I believe those were two separate ideas. First thought- "Let's include stuff from dark ages." Second unrelated thought- "Write ups for rat and spider shifters not just hosts."

If that's not what your question was about, retroactively, forever, if one chooses to use Changing Breeds, or creates their own using the rules from war against the pure.

Heck I had the thought of using WaP to build a race of dragons- were crocodiles or giant snake or something, choose the wings option, buy the blast numen, and voila, you're a flying reptile raining fiery destruction upon your enemies.

I found these three lectures to be an excellent interpretation of how the living and dead interrelate in the Viking world. Especially appropriate since we have Geists in this setting.

                                Lecture 1: Children of Ash

                                Lecture 2: Life and Afterlife

Lecture 3: Shape of the Soul
