The Transformation power from page 224 of Aberrant says it costs, "1 Quantum point per dot distributed" while the Extra Traits power tag says, "Each instance of this tag increases Transformation's Cost by 1 Quantum point."
If a character has Transformation 3 and one Extra Traits power tag and allocates all six of the available power dots, which of the following is true?
1). The character spends 7 Quantum; 3 from dots granted by Transformation, 3 from dots granted by Extra Traits, and 1 from possessing the Extra Traits tag.
2). The character spends 4 Quantum; 3 from dots granted by Transformation and 1 from possessing the Extra Traits tag, with the 3 dots granted by Extra Traits not having an extra cost.

The "Life of Privilege" origin path has only 13 points worth of Edges. Fame=3, Patron=3, Skilled Liar=2, Wealth=5. 13 points. Is this an intended feature? Was Patron or Fame assumed to go up to 5? I did the numbers because that particular path was easier to count then the first "Adventurer" path and there is already a discrepancy.

Is there an errata available or possibly available in the future? Like as a free online supplement or perhaps a small section in an expansion?
Also I really feel like the super science rules are not detailed. Apologies, I don't have my book with me at the moment so I'm operating on memory but we know that we can effectively build 3 types or tiers of super science creations. Well Talents can make 2, they can't build powered tech. Anyways I don't think we get any indication of exact rules for the actual creation process? An extrapolation of mundane tech created as super science counts as 1 scale higher, and something like a freeze gun is scale 2 and can't be mass produced. But what exactly is the difference when I'm rolling the dice?
Edit
Oh yeah. Do Superiors get detected by the Talent Gift "Spot the Halo"? They don't have a Source. Would they show up as blank? Or does the fact that they are sort of stunted Novas or Psions mean that they would still come up as odd to someone with "Spot the Halo"?Last edited by Planguy; 11-01-2021, 09:44 PM.

Hi there! Given the new Tasty Bits: Pets supplement for Aeon, with pets working like antagonists with primary, secondary, and desperation pools: How do Augendis powers work on them (which do have rules "only" for PC attributes and skills)? I want my Vitakinetic to boost his pet on a constant basis. Toughest and strongest ferret in the universe!

Is there a version of Nova that isn't jumped stared by Divas Mal ala the Psiad? To clarify I'm building a Nova for a game consisting of a Psiad, a Talent, and a Nova. I was looked for a rules for Dark Star Nova's which seem to be what I was looking for but couldn't find anything in the book except some notes about lowering the points to spend. Is the difference between a Nova and a Dark Star just the amount of points you spend during character creation or is it a more profound change like the Psiad/Psion difference?

Psions are artificially created psi-users, psiads are naturally-occurring.
Likewise with quantum-users:
Superiors are artificially created quantum-users, novas are naturally-occurring.
The environmental conditions that paved the way for novas to erupt were artificially generated, but the eruption process itself happened on its own.
Superiors are covered in the Æon Æxpansion.

Thank you for that, as that answers a question I hadn't gotten around to asking yet but that my group has been debating hotly since Æon Æxpansion came out.
So based on that Dark Star Novas are mechanically the same as other Novas, just with either a lower point pool for character creation or selecting powers that are easily hidden?
On a tangent related to your previous answer: For Quantum there are Natural Novas and Artificial Superiors, Psi has Natural Psiads and Artificial Psions. For Flux we've seen Natural Talents. Are there Artificial Talents? Or is that what Assassins is?
(Edited out a question as it was answered earlier in the thread and I missed it first time through.)Last edited by DarrenDalca; 11-23-2021, 07:46 AM.

Some of the mega attributes grants dots equal to its rating to spend on certain edges. I'm probably been dumb but for instance say you have mega intelligence 3 do you have only 3 dots total to spend or are the points cumulative which the previous ratings and you have 6 dots all together.
example:
mega intelligence 1 = 1 dot
mega intelligence 2 = 2 dots
mega intelligence 3 = 3 dots
= 6 dots total
