    A comment on the weird places and things, they are not caused by Hammersmith, they happen "naturally" on remote places where none goes for a long time and they may appear and disappear at any time. Atlants for example is in the botton of the ocean during Aether and Adventure eras.

    This kind of stuff also allow some esoteric items to work, those items are basically super science items, but with no "scientific approach". A psion can create a biotech that helps him to see the future, but a esoteric item would be a deck of cards, or some other "magical item".

    As far as we know, most of the weird places vanished before Nova era, but you may find some of them in the most remote places, like a savage valley in Antartica with dinosaurs and a worm rain forrest, or an iland in the middle of the ocean that is always covered by clouds, or a cave in the botton of the sea from where a giant monster emmerges once in a while.

    Edit: Adding, there are still weird things happening even durng Aeon era, so it can be a really interesting game if you wanto to explore those weirdplaces at any age as you wish.

    I imagine Aegis era world will be covered by weird places, as most of it was barelly touched by humans. It would be fun to have natural philosophers discussing the nature of the weird places that they once in a while may find, while other times ate not there.

      Hmmm. Maybe a Mediterranean island inhabited by a low-Quantum nova “witch” and the pig sub-Aberrant mutants she makes out of hapless sailors!

        1. How relatively common do you imagine Psychic Edges like these are? Some are rather niche.
        2. Do you imagine this sort of research is perpetually ongoing? In my games, yes it is. But, only SOME of them are in common use. The new Quantakinesis Psychic Edges, for instance, have yet to be invented
        3. Is it feasible to have Proxy Tier Psychic Edges? Like, I don’t know, using a 7-dot Psychic Edge to bioengineer a semi-sentient pet? I know vanishingly few psions would have such powers, but still...
        4. Can 6-dot powers work with Psychic Edges? I don’t mean the base power the Psychic Edge alters, but rather the altered power, itself.
        This book is not official book, but a Community Content, but its a good one for sure.
        My oppinion:
        1. As we have many thousands of psions, I am quite sure there are lots of them.
        2. I believe most of them surge naturally as they learn they can do (basically you can do many many different things, any psion with the proper mode dots can do all that is described in those edges paying extra psi and having some complications in the rolls, but those that buy the edges just can do it easier)
        3. Why not? But instead they are actually unique powers that only proxiy level psions can create and teach to other proxy level psions. Check Prometheus Unbound for the proper rules.
        4. In tesis yes, because those are just tricks they learnd to do with the powers, and so can grow with the powers.

          Would I be correct in that Transformation Quantum power with the Impose Only Tag and one or more applications of the Duration Power Tag is the best way to implement “sub-Aberrant mutants” in the Nova Age?

            Not necessarily. I believe the best way is by using powers that cause Flux on the target, like Healing, or by using a tag you create to do that.
            The point of the Sub-Aberrant is not to be transformed by a power, that would be temporary, but the character be deformed until become something other than human by exposure to quantum energies.

            But yes, you could create temporary subaberrants (powerful ones by the way) using transformation and Impose Only tag.

              So, a tag designed for that, just for the Healing power? Hmmm. Interesting.

              A TC Aeon question:

              1. How many psions can potentially link their powers noetically? I don’t seem to be able to find a hard limit. If, say, enough Upeo wa Macho joined into a single use of Transportal, could they reach the Andromeda Galaxy?

              A TC Aberrant question:

              1. How far can you go, with the optional Goliath rules? Like, if a Galactus stand-in came to Earth, how absurd could I get while staying within the letter of the rules?

                Imagine Dinosaur Valley showing in Adventure! - that as you run through it - you got out on one of Aegis islands?! 😎 And then characters in the Modern / Core Trinity find your 1930s remains in excavations site of 3000-4000 years old settlement, with dino bones added to mix?! 😮

                  Healling have the side effect of causing 1 Flux after 10 successes used on the same character in 24h. My suggestion is to create a "Corrupt" tag that grants 1 Flux to the target of the power as a sideeffect.

                  Aeon 1. As many as you want, but it can raise the combined Psi up to 5 or 7 if any Proxy tier psions among them. So, no Andromeda for you...

                  Aberrant 1. As far as you wish. The idea of the system is to allow you to defeat a enemy without necessarily a direct combat. How you kill galactus is another question and it may be an entire chanlenge appart after taking him out.

                      A TC Aeon question:

                      1. We have the following aliens:
                      Aberrants (technically!);
                      Bullseye Entities (sadly, extinct);
                      the Coalition (HR Giger would be proud);
                      Chromatics;
                      the Doyen;
                      the Qin.
                      Do any other species exist, or is this the official list? I know Martians are a species in TC Aether, but do they endure past TC Aether?

                        We have playable:
                        - Aberrants (TC Aberrant)
                        - Coallition (some phyles at least, Under Aliens Skies)
                        - Chromatics (UAS)
                        - Qin (Distant Worlds)
                        - Listeners (UAS)
                        - Gardeners (kind of, worth the read, UAS)

                        Besides those we have a few other aliens and stranger things around in Under Alien Skies and Distant Worlds. If you like aliens (real aliens, not human with heavy makeup), those two books are amazing!

                          What’re Listeners? What are Gardeners?

                          And yes, I prefer my aliens alien.

                            If you want the truly incomprehensible type of alien then there is The Breach.

                            All of them are in "Under Alien Skies".

                                Noetic links are kind of self limiting. It doesn't matter if you're linking two psions or 1000, the base benefit is +1 die/+2 dice if you're linked to a proxy, and everyone must pay 1 psi point every time anyone activates a power. The real benefit is the page 208 perk, and I believe even those only apply once each. If five vitakinetics are linked, whoever is acting gets Enhancement to powers used against living creatures equal to the psi trait of whichever other vitakinetic has the highest psi.

                                So if your character is in a noetic link with psions of each Aptitude, each with Psi 5, they get +1 die to the dice pool and as many of the page 208 bonuses as apply to that specific power use, but everyone pays 1 psi point or the power fails.

                                I believe Goliath rules can be pushed so far that you can easily adapt them to non-combat encounters. Want to defeat an international corporation or tyrannical dictatorship? Treat it like a Goliath. Are you trying to win a political campaign or save the city from an unnatural disaster? Treat it like a Goliath. This is like performing a complex action with multiple milestones, except the situation you're resolving can (and probably will) fight back.
