IX Pronunciation

Maybe this is covered in the manuscript and I just missed it, but how is this intended to be pronunced? I see 4 possiblities:
1. as the number "nine."
2. as the letters "eye ecks."
3. as a word "icks."
4. as numbers separately "one ten"

Of that list 2 and 3 seem most likely to me. How are you all handling it?

Since both letters are capitalized and they're taken from the names of the heads, I suspect "eye ecks" is correct. Kind of like KFC, IBM, or CBS.

I would use 9, as it’s kind of 9 in a different time.

It's two initials, so pronounced as the individual letters I and X (which is one reason why it's hyphenated in the manuscript).

Is IX in Anima predecesor of 9 in Aeon?

Been a bit since I read teh manuscript, but I beleive they are what remains of the Directive. Aberrant seems to insinuate, and Anima seems to support, that 9 became the Directive during the Aberrant area.

It starts as Branch 9 in Adventure!, becomes 9 in Core, The Directive in Aberrant, then it breaks sometime near/after the Aberrant War. I-X is formed by the former members of The Directive, and I think it becomes irrelevant or is absorbed by one of the factions of Aeon (Minerva or Proteus, maybe).
