Interesting idea Ragged Robin. Any ideas what kind of flaw would offset the bonus such a merit would give.

Captain Planet was such pure 1990’s camp. But I was more into Beast Wars Transformers and the Buffy and Angel series.

I watched Violent Night the other night and I was amused by the notion of Santa as a bad ass fighter.

You asked if Tziscme had a proper name and I mentioned that we don’t know any of there true origins.

Most members of the original 3rd generation have taken exquisite care in concealing there origins including there original names. IE Cappodicous real name is unknown and just uses his title as an explanation of where he came from....

There isn’t one that I can think of as you don’t really need to explain your reasoning for ignoring certain people on these boards.

The Nosferatu in VTR are not always physically deformed. In fact many of them look normal but give of a sense of unease or a predatory sense of interaction. Some of them become very emotionally detached and cold and there clan book goes into further detail on how the curse separates them from humanity and Kindred.
I even had a notion of one kind of Nosferatu who physical flaws would go away with each passing century and would look inhumanly perfect just like the flaw in the Aberrant 1st edition.Last edited by Lysander; 03-19-2023, 02:40 PM.

I’m surprised that they didn’t mention Thanos Infinity Gaulent where he always sets the means to his defeat.

I brought it up as you could swap out the 10/11th generation for the 8/9th generation for the ancilla status and use the rules for that. But it will be a lot of homebrewing.

I do like the Nosferatu of the Reqium myself in that setting along with Gangrel and Mekhet.

Sandman and American Gods by Neil Gaiman are a good choice for Scion style mood and you also could try some of Eric Brown Godpunk stories or even The Percy Jackson series if you don't mind that it's meant for a younger age group.

You certainly gave me good ideas for a reclusive Autumn Court Riddleseeker that I've been slowly working on.

What is your Scion's relationship with their divine parent.
Just a curious question. I used to play Scion back in the day and I played a Scion of Aengus.
My character who was a minor actor and musician had a good relationship with his parent but it was more along the lines of good buddies and he was loyal because Aengus used his healing boons to save his mortal mother and step-father from a nasty car accident and would use his epic social attributes & Illusions boons to help out his pantheon. So what kind of relationships did you protrayed in your games.

I forgot to ask is your player characters going to be neonates or ancilla's? In that case you could play lower generation characters at there base blood potency such as 3 dots for a member of the 7th generation. I would keep elders and the ancients off the table for player characters inmho....

The late 1990's early 2,000's were a strange time indeed Mr. Gone and I can't believe how quickly time has passed.
