If you're wanting to sense the old woman with the Rook cane's motives give me wits + empathy.

As it stands right now, she seems to be saying that Gilad would have to find Katab to find out more about the contents of the book.

As to the larger mystery of Gilad's awakening, the key information that you would need is who orchestrated the mystery play, and why they intended to push, or pull, Erik forward in time.

So Katab ( TempleBuilder) and Gawain ( nickeldan ) are in the coat check area stowing Gawain's sword. Blackfish ( Maroon_Mumba ) is in the garden contemplating escape of some kind, and wishing he knew where his friend Katab was. If you choose to do that while in Beuenos Aires, maybe wait until after the current scene. Given the astral anomalies of the city it might be an interesting adventure.

Or if you prefer to have done it before hand, maybe you can relate what you found to Gawain. I am trying to get some player character interaction going.

Harju and Hana are unloading Kipina the electric piano from a rented van while Bancu sets up his drum kit. Hmm. That would be an interesting use of the Death Arcanum. I had to think for a little bit. It kind of goes to the question of what distinction the MtAw world/system makes between soul and mind. A mystery!

I think if one wanted to go with the idea that a ghost is an echo, a kind of "memory", then you could possibly use a death spell to summon or bolster a memory (it might look similar to summoning a goetia), but that would be Perfecting rather than Fraying. Utopia and Trish arrive in Buenos Aires. For some reason when they checked in at the airport in Paris, everyone got bumped up to first class. Trish seemed just as surprised as everyone else.

I think we will move on to the the first scene in Buenos Aires, unless there are any strong objections.

You all will be in the home of the hierarch of the city's southern concilium. There is a large party being held for his granddaughter's fiesta de quince. Trish is covering the event as a travel and culture reporter and Utopia is one of the performing music groups. Gawain and Katab have also been invited to the celebration, and you will all be invited up to the hierarch's private office at some point in the evening.
